Found this display rack the other day parked next to a dumpster at a local store.
Upon checking I was told it was slated for the trash but there wasn’t enough room inside the dumpster for it.
I very generously offered to help them out by taking it off their hands.
They accepted my kind offer and thanked ME!!!
Isn’t that a hoot?
I did a happy dance all the way home.
I have visions of NEST signs dancing in my head right now.
So, be honest with me here, what would you do with this if it were yours?
Or would you have left it by the dumpster?
I think I would use at least one whole honest as it is how all my friends describe me and then also make a nest and a oh sign with the rest. Not sure what I would mean with oh, but I do say it a lot. Can't wait to see what you decide to do.
ReplyDeleteIf you use the letters for a nest sign would you use the the other for a Ho one? Or maybe OH! With the left overs after one nest, could you spell One Shot? Great find and hours of word play fun!
ReplyDeleteDefinite keeper - Honest. :) I can't wait to see what you will do with those awesome shelves... and yes, I can wait a year or two to find out, if it takes you that long to be inspired. HO would be perfect at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I wouldn't change much except to level the shelves. Then would use it to display family things. Or it would be a fantastic wine rack (obviously).
ReplyDeletethat would make a great storage unit in a kitchen! love the idea of the 'nest'.. if you're able to switch out the H.O. for maybe a M.Y. that would be cute. i'm sure whatever you decide, it'll be great! be sure to share!
ReplyDeleteYou sure have a good eye for snatching up treasures! Love the nest idea!
ReplyDeleteI would have grabbed it in a heart beat....
ReplyDeletethe left over ho's could be used for Christmas Cheer HO! Ho!!
Well you've got a set of Ho-Ho
ReplyDeleteand a couple of nest... as for the rest of it? Hmmm... I'm sure you'll think of something as creative as you are!

I have no clue, but can't wait to see what you come up with! Nest signs would be adorable!
ReplyDeleteI would take the metal part off and use it for fabric storage or course! Nice find.
ReplyDeleteI would use it to store vintage linens but using the letters is brillant!
ReplyDeleteToo fun...glad you spotted it :) Have fun "NEST-ing"...Laurel
ReplyDeleteOf course I'd have brought it home. It's wonderful. I'd level the shelves, remove most of the wire dividers and use it for storage. HONEST I would.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I would do with it but honestly, I would not have left it. Take now, figure it out later. That's my motto!
ReplyDeletethat is a totally cool find! I would have grabbed it as well. i can't wait to see what you do with!
